Michelle is a Mum of two teenage boys and is engaged to marry her partner Mark. Michelle has a love of many different creative outlets including photography, paper craft, baking and event/styling decorating. Her life is hectic and busy but she makes time for everything by running a tight schedule. Her 10 years management experience has given her the edge to manage her own successful packaging business as well as organize a busy family life. She started her own business after a marriage breakup and wanted to be more flexible with when and how she worked. She identified an opportunity to work with small businesses supplying a variety of packaging options creating a one stop shop for professionally branded packaging supplies. Her creative passions are also quite valuable offering clients lots of ideas and suggestions to help them wow their clients with their packaging.
There are many benefits to balancing business and motherhood as Michelle explains, “I realized there was an opportunity in the market to create a one-stop shop for packaging supplies, offering small run logo branding options and incorporating creative ideas and advice on presentation”.
It can be challenging to be a successful business woman whilst raising a family and Michelle gives this advice for others thinking about starting their own enterprise.”Customer service and the experience you offer your customers is one of the most important things, sometimes it costs a little extra but it is worth every cent to have your customers raving about you and telling all their friends”
